EMP makes their debut at Edgar's featuring special guest, Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Steve Kortyka! Hailing from Bowling Green State University, EMP has spent over a year building traction in Cleveland and Toledo through their one collective goal: Redefine what jazz can be in modern music. Get ready for a night of original compositions, fusion takes on popular songs, jazz standards, and everything in between! Based out of Astoria, NY, Steve Kortyka is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, composer, educator, and full-time performer. Steve can be heard on Grammy Award-winning albums 'Cheek to Cheek' (2014), 'Tony Bennett Celebrates 90' (2016), and 'Love For Sale' (2021), plus much more.
