In 2005, Edgar’s Restaurant opened at Good Park Golf Course in Akron as a partnership with three managing members including award winning Executive Chef Glenn Gillespie.
In 2012, Chef Glenn took over all operations and now privately owns and manages the restaurant. Since then, we have become one of Akron’s top fine dining destinations commonly offering live in-house music performances and special networking events. We also offer an extensive wine menu, mixed drink list, and bar area.
In 2015, Edgar’s rebranded as the Cornucopia of Culture! Each week, Chef Glen creates a “weekly features” menu involving foods from a variety of countries, cultures, and styles. Patron favorites range from Creole Seafood to Greek Cuisine.
The popular Cooking Classics series was introduced in 2018, wherein guests would serve as audience to a special cooking demonstration by Chef Glenn, followed by tasting of every food and drink prepared. This event series is an exquisite way for us to connect more intimately with our patrons.

Executive Chef, Edgar’s Restaurant
